Genesis offers a variety of services in more than 200 centers across 13 eastern states. In addition to our ShortStay and LongTerm Care services, we offer Specialized Alzheimer’s care, orthopedic rehabilitation, ventilator care, dialysis care and Assisted Living services in a variety of centers near you.  At Genesis, we offer our patients and residents outstanding clinical care, delivered by highly skilled practitioners in a warm and comfortable setting.

Employee Development Opportunities

Leadership Development

At Genesis HealthCare, we realize that it is our leaders, at all levels of the organization, who make the difference between ordinary and extraordinary performance. That’s why Genesis recently expanded its Leadership Development Program for employees who want to become Directors of Nursing, or Nursing Home Administrators.

The program is an innovative, self-paced, experience-based educational opportunity that meets the needs of our employees even as they work in our Centers every day.

Each carefully selected candidate is partnered with a Genesis certified instructor and a mentor to insure that the learning experience is as focused and as broad as it needs to be. To insure our employees’ success on the job, mentorship support for program graduates continues for the first two years they are in a new leadership position.

Tuition Assistance Program (TAP)

At Genesis HealthCare, we recognize that high-quality health care does not happen on its own. It happens when employees have the skills and support they need to do their jobs every day. Participants in our Tuition Assistance Program pursue the education they need to enhance and advance their careers. Because we are committed to making learning as accessible as possible to all of our employees, our program pays the costs of tuition up front.  Acceptance to the Genesis TAP program is discretionary based on Company needs (i.e., RNs and Therapists), the proposed course of study, budgeted dollars, and the number of applicants.
