Westmont Living, Inc., a premier provider of retirement living, assisted living and dementia care is opening a brand new community in Morgan Hill, California. We are seeking a seasoned sales professional (Director of Sales) to help bring this community from ground breaking to fully occupied.  Westmont Living, where people come first, is not about being big, but about being good.

Our ideal candidate is an experienced sales leader who can meet and exceed sales goals while striving to make a difference in the senior lives we touch.  S/he will also build and maintain a professional network in the local and extended market to build the lead base and promote the Westmont Living culture.

 BASIC FUNCTION:

The employee shall be responsible for planning and directing marketing functions to maintain budgeted occupancy for the community. Will develop specific marketing plans, conduct quarterly market analyses, develop and implement community events, complete advertising for the events and conduct direct referral source appointments and sales calls. The employee will be responsible for moving in new residents into the community and completing the required paper work. This position will be responsible for the assistance in the development of all marketing and collateral materials, communications projects and promotional activities to further the goals of Westmont Living.  The employee shall be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the corporate standards.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have at least TWO years previous experience in marketing with a proven effective sales and/or leasing history.
  • Must have at least one year previous experience in publication and design to include computer systems and desktop publishing applications such as Quark, Photoshop, etc. 
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form. 
  • Must have strong organizational skills as well as the ability to prioritize projects and objectives while meeting deadlines. 
  • Must possess an upbeat, positive, flexible and enthusiastic personality. 
  • Must be professional in dress and presentation. 
  • Must be a conceptual thinker who is highly creative
  • Must be a good listener.
  • Must have proficient computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office, Excel, and Adobe.
  • Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the Community
  • Participates in department-specific New Employee Orientation and on-going education of staff requested to perform tours and handle sales' inquiries regarding the Community.
