The Certified Nursing Assistant will provide direct care to residents, while promoting the resident's highest level of functioning, as directed by management. Assists in maintaining the resident's environment in a safe and neat manner. Promotes quality services within facility standards, State and Federal Regulations. Must have excellent customer service and communication skills to provide the highest quality of care for our residents.

Key responsibilities include:

*Assisting residents with activities of daily living to include: bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
*Transferring and getting residents to and from activities and meals according to their individual service plan
*Serving meals to residents in the dining room or their apartment
*Recording and reporting changes in resident's eating habits to supervisor
*Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

We seek the following qualifications:

*Must have a High School Diploma or GED
*Must have Texas CNA certification from an approved program
*Six months experience in long term care is preferred
*Experience with seniors and memory care preferred
