  • Consistently and genuinely demonstrate the STARS principles of Service, Teamwork, Action, Reputation and Success in all activities and interactions.

  • Works with the Program Director to develop holistic activity programs including community integration and spiritual programs.

  • Works with the Dining Services Director to develop a dementia based dining program.

  • Assists the Community Relations, Health Services and Executive Directors with initial and ongoing resident assessments to determine their initial needs and changes to their care plan.

  • Plans, coordinates and delivers support groups for spouses, family members and other responsible parties.

  • Maintains confidentiality of all resident information.

  • Recruits and selects associates following BVSL hiring standards and tools; forwards final candidates to Executive Director for final approval.

  • Ensures timely, consistent, written performance evaluations, positive recognition acknowledgements and disciplinary actions.

  • Ensures appropriate staffing is in place at all times to meet BVSL service standards and to remain in compliance with any/all regulatory requirements.

  • Ensures smooth move-ins into the Wellspring neighborhood for new and transferring residents.

  • Assists in the development of and adheres to the Wellspring budget, ensuring the delivery of excellent services while achieving financial goals set for the community.

  • Effectively administers and participates in Brightview’s “Manager on Duty” program.

  • Participates in and attends all in-service training and education programs as scheduled.

  • Other duties as assigned.





  • Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Manages Wellspring Resident Assistants and Wellspring LPN (where applicable).
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with BVSL policies and applicable laws.Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.


With our residents in mind, the right candidate will have:

  • High School diploma or GED.

  • 2 years experience and demonstrated knowledge of Dementia and appropriate therapeutic/behavioral interventions.

  • Previous supervisory experience.

  • Experience in the design, development and execution of programs and activities.

  • Demonstrated psycho-social support skills for residents and their families.

  • Demonstrated assessment skills.

  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.

  • Strong customer orientation to older adults.

  • Positive attitude, enthusiasm and energy.

  • Ability to effectively communicate in English.
