Responsibilities We are currently seeking an experienced Engage Life Director to join our team at Atria Tinton Falls in Tinton Falls, NJ. The primary job function of the Engage Life Director is to create and run a great recreational program for our residents. We are looking for a high energy, dynamic person to fulfill one of the most essential positions in our company. Our Senior Residents are active and want to be engaged every day in a diverse program.

Scope of Responsibilities Include:
- Stimulate our residents by offering activities that promote mental, intellectual, creative, spiritual and physical well being
- Plan and help write the monthly calendar and newsletter
- Plan events and various outings that would appeal to our residents Qualifications Requirements Include:
- Bachelors Degree in Recreation Therapy or related field plus 2 years experience working with a senior population OR
- Associates Degree in Recreation Therapy or related field plus 4 years experience working with a senior population
- 1+ years planning and running group activities- experience with seniors highly preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literacy
- Experience teaching, mentoring or coaching others
- Experience coordinating and scheduling volunteers
- Knowledge of Humanities, Creative Arts, World History and Cultures, Entertainment and Exercise
- Must have excellent organizational and time management skills
- Must have a great sense of humor
