Responsibilities

What you would be doing:

• Responsible for the day to day operations of our memory care units
• Development & maintenance of wellness objectives, standards of wellness practice, wellness policies and procedure manuals within the Memory Care units
• Infection control policies & procedures
• Planning, decision making and budgeting for wellness care services
• Authority and responsibility of all memory care personnel
• Coordinate with the Director of Dining Services to ensure residents proper diets
• Documentation, written policies and procedures
• Interviewing and selection of residents for admission
• Keep Director of Wellness informed and be able to take on the Director of Wellness responsibility when needed

Qualifications

What are we looking for?

• An LPN from an accredited school of nursing and has a current LPN license in Texas.
• Experience with caring for residents/patients with Alzheimer, Dementia, or memory loss
• 3 years of management experience within this area of Geriatric care.
