Job Description: 

Holiday Retirement, North America's leading provider of independent living retirement communities, has a full-time position open for a Community Relations Representative in Kansas City, Missouri.

OVERALL JOB PURPOSE

The Community Relations Representative works closely with Community Managers, Co-Managers, Regional Directors and Regional Sales Leaders to achieve set Community sales goals, such as monthly DI calls and tours, as well as all activities and events necessary to ensure the Community's monthly gross resident move-in total regularly exceeds any decline in resident census. The Community census must maintain an increase of no less than 4 gross move-ins per month.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • 2-year college degree or equivalent experience in business administration, retirement, hospitality industry or related field.
  • 2 years of previous outside sales experience.
  • Solid track record of success in meeting and exceeding sales goals.
  • Must have own vehicle with valid driver's license, must have a driving record that meets Company standards and must have automobile insurance coverage in limits which meet or exceed Company standards.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and customer service skills.
  • Must demonstrate high standards of ethics and personal accountability.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • o Assist in sales activities, including - but not limited to - contacting new and existing DIs, giving presentations/tours, coordinating Grassroots events, making Community visits, etc.
  • o Assist in maintaining DI System (lead database management).
  • o Assist in maintaining regional competitive analysis reports.
  • o Assist in maintaining referral and lead generation service relationships.
  • o Assist in collecting and properly recording deposits.
  • o Assist in maintaining sales/marketing collateral.
  • o Assist staff members to meet departmental deadlines.
  • o Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
