Job Description: 

We are currently searching for a capable administrator to serve as an Area Director for a major Long Term Care (LTC) client in the Harrisburg-Carlisle region.

 

Our client is searching for an experienced (3-5 years) administrator with multi-site Profit-and-Loss experience, proven experience in market and business development, and experience in managing a team of diverse professionals.

 

The Area Director is expected to: 

  • Manage Branch staff; Hire, interview, and manage employees in line with branch goals and in compliance with state/federal requirements and company policy.
  • Provide professional and personal development opportunities for all staff.
  • Drive overall Branch growth and increase efficiency.
  • Develop Annual Business Plan in collaboration with upline manager consistent with branch goals and company strategy.
  • Prepare Branch budget with upline and financial support personnel.
  • Analyze and understand local market conditions, develop marketing plan for the branch in collaboration with sales resources.
  • Analyze available reports and all information regarding the business; identify trends and make business adjustments to react to local market conditions.
  • Ability to travel as necessary for business purposes.

 

 

To qualify as an Area Director a candidate must possess:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field (Business/Marketing/Finance/Healthcare); MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years in management role with staff & business development responsibility.
  • Demonstrate competence in core management practices. 
  • Ability to be creative, flexible and possess/demonstrate critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to prioritize workload in an appropriate manner.
  • Ability to build and maintain a team environment.
