Today, Presby’s Inspired Life is a regional leader in senior living, providing continuing care and affordable housing to more than 2,800 residents in 28 communities through the dedicated, compassionate work of nearly 800 employees.  The mission of the organization, from its beginnings, has been to provide exceptional communities and care for individuals representing a broad range of backgrounds, physical abilities and economic circumstances.

 

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated individual, committed to social ministry, to join our team.  This is a newly-developed position located at our Community Support Center in Lafayette Hill, a suburb of Philadelphia.

 

As part of the Presby team, the focus of this position is building and strengthening relationships with Presbyterian and other religious congregations, with the goal of building understanding, benevolent support and volunteerism, as well as the utilization of services offered by Presby and its affiliates. Additionally, the professional in this position, will design and implement strategies aimed at nurturing progressive relationships with church and other faith- based organizations to develop an understanding of how we they might be mutually supportive of one another through on- site ministry educational opportunities, special events, retreats and similar forums. The Church & Community Relations Coordinator will provide assistance and leadership toward  the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of prospects inclined to be supportive of the evolving needs of the ministry of Presby’s Inspired Life. It will also be essential for the Coordinator to promote  spiritual growth opportunities within Presby’s Inspired Life communities through the development of a coordinated, comprehensive chaplaincy program.

 

Strong Liberal Arts background preferred with a demonstrated knowledge in Communications, Sales, Marketing, Ministry or related field(s). A minimum of four years experience building and nurturing partnerships with faith-based organizations and operations also required. Demonstrated experience with those associated with the Presbyterian faith a plus.
