Job Description:  Dining Services - Full Time - Day/Evening
Responsible for exercising the high standards set forth in the Cross Keys Village/The Brethren Home Community's Core Values. Prepare food items for Residents, cafeteria, and functions as designated by production sheets using quantity recipes, designated portion control, and instruction by Executive Chef and Head Cook. Follows sanitation, infectious control, and safety standards as specified by the facility and regulatory agencies. Responsible for closing department on a regular basis, assuring team member duties are complete, equipment is turned off, department is secure and any needed communication is written to supervision. Checks plated food for proper presentation and completeness. Assists the bussing of tables and stocking of workstations. Scope of job duties is of moderate complexity and the quality of work contributes to the nutritional/dietary well being of the Resident. Is responsible for establishing and maintaining excellent customer service.
High school diploma or equivalent. Working knowledge of food service preparation as would be required through two years of related work experience. Thorough knowledge of HACCP procedures and PA Dept. of Agriculture Sanitation Certification is helpful
