As an Assistant Vice President of Clinical Development, you will:

  • Develops the operational strategy that supports clinical development strategy. Oversees and participates in tactical execution of the strategy. Strategy addresses the operational development of new and existing specialties and operational standards of specialties to ensure consistency and compliance with regulations and policies. 
  • Oversees and directs the development, implementation, and maintenance of launch platform and strategies for all specialties. Works with specialty senior leadership to determine and assess needs and designs strategies based on this input. 
  • Establishes and oversees logistical planning and support for program launches to branches to include identifying supplies, testing materials, packing and bundling of tool kits. Work with such departments as Purchasing, Marketing and other related partnerships to support logistical efforts for disseminating these tools to branches. 
  • Develops and oversees, in collaboration with the director of research, the infrastructure for clinical outcome collection of information, reporting, and use within the context of promoting user friendliness, consistency and efficiency. 
  • Responsible for technology initiatives in support of the Clinical Development and Specialty teams. Oversees creation website and formulates content to disseminate information to branch managers to include bundling and purchase of tool kits for specialty launches, packaging of GU courses, scheduling market assessment calls and post launch calls. Responsible for more technical interfacing with TSG for making changes within internal software platforms that house clinical data. 
  • Develops and oversees the packaging for each new specialty and reviews existing specialties for consistency across platforms. 
  • Oversees the development of audit questions in collaboration with /National Leads and the audit team. 
  • Develops and manages an expense budget that supports the growth of Gentiva. 
  • Participates in strategic planning and establishes goals that are in alignment of Gentiva's strategic planning. 
  • Tracks and ensures timely logistics of all supplies for launches roll out of clinical initiatives and monitors impact of launch on a location via feedback and operating metrics.

 

Qualifications

  • Active RN license
  • BSN or related Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, a health related science or the equivalent.  MSN preferred.
  • A minimum of ten years progressive leadership experience in operational design and execution.
  • Multi-site Hospice experience required. 
  • Must have working knowledge of clinical program development.
  • Must be able to develop operational strategies and lead implementation of associated tactics with a diverse group of direct reports and stake holders.
  • Ability to build cohesive teams and cross functional relationships.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including strong facilitation skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and staff.
  • Must be able to work cross-functionally and collaboratively with multiple groups.
  • Strong ability for project and program planning and execution with demonstrated ability to execute projects according to timelines.
