  • Responsible for strategically assessing, developing, and implementing action plans to align Company with key payors and holder of risk; ensure achievement of sales and profit objectives for assigned book of business; provide total account management with a focus on selling at the executive and medical levels of current and potential customers; and establish a consultative selling role to build a "Business Partner" relationship focusing on the home infusion and specialty pharmacy services.
  • Achieves sales, profitability, and admission goals.
  • Sets collaborative strategic and tactical plans directed at achieving these goals.
  • Sells and implements Company's Core Clinical Programs in collaboration with Special Business Units.
  • Leads contracting efforts through prospecting, credentialing, and negotiation of pricing and terms.
  • Ensures accurate and complete contract implementation internally and externally.
  • Coordinates with Field Sales Team with territory for pull through activities with hospitals, medical groups and hospitals based case managers.
  • Supports national and multi-regional payor relationships.
  • Facilitates billing and cash collection projects led by the Patient Financial Services teams.
  • Assists branches with contracted and non-contract patient referrals.
  • Assists payors with outcome capabilities and utilization data from Company.
  • Maintains current account files and other records with respect to current and prospective customers in accordance with Company instructions and requirements.
  • Attends and participates in branch, Company, and industry meetings as directed.
  • Completes and submits all required reports in a timely manner.
  • Comply with all Company policies with specific reference to the Company Compliance Handbooks as well as other Company policies which may be implemented from time to time.
  • Responsible for hiring, coaching, performance appraisal and disciplining of subordinate staff. 
  • Ensures project deadlines and performance standards are established and met.
  • Primarily supervises 6-9 exempt employees and/or supervisors.
  • Performs other related duties as directed by supervisor.
 
 

Qualifications:
  • Education or experience equivalent to a four year college degree is required.
  • At least five years sales related experience is required.
