  • Achieves sales goals assigned to the territory on a monthly and annual basis.
  • Develops sales for a defined territory and/or payor category within identified parameters.
  • Meets all established Company standards with respect to selling skills, product knowledge, account and territory penetration, competitive knowledge of market and competition, understanding of managed care and reimbursement methodologies.
  • Complies with all Company policies with specific reference to Compliance as well as others which may be implemented over time.
  • Assists in the development of branch personnel involved either directly or indirectly in the sales effort through the development and implementation of various educational programs directed at raising employee competencies for the sales efforts. Assists sales efforts for other branches when requested.
  • Aggressively solicits sales from present and prospective customers within the territory.
  • Sets strategies and calls on accounts within the sales territory directed at achievement sales target.
  • Plans and organizes the daily and weekly work schedule so as to achieve optimum efficiency in undertaking the sales efforts.
  • Attends CEU presentations as requested by Company staff.
  • Attends local and national Neuropathy or Alpha-1 related meetings.
  • Communicates any customer complaints in accordance with Company policy and advises the Alpha-1 Patient Advocacy Manager, VP-Blood Products, Branch Manager, and others as appropriate concerning any problem situation beyond the scope of their authority or responsibility.
  • Assists management in special assignments such as market tests, surveys, developing budgets and territory breakdowns in assigned areas.
  • Completes and submits all required reports in a timely manner.
  • Maintains current account files and other records with respect to current and prospective customers in accordance with Company instructions and requirements.
  • Attends and participates in branch Company operation meetings, sales meetings, training programs, conventions, trade shows and other meetings as directed.
  • Initiates contract discussions with accounts within the sales territory.
  • Performs other related duties as directed by supervisor.

Qualifications:
  • Education or experience equivalent to a four year college degree is required.
  • At least five years related experience with two years of Blood Products and Alpha-1 experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and appropriate insurance.
