As a Certified Medication Aide , you'll work under the supervision of the Resident Services Director and be responsible for the storage, distribution, and discontinuation of our residents' medication. Other tasks include keeping proper care records, reporting any changes in resident's conditions and interacting with internal and external customers in a professional manner while ensuring resident safety and satisfaction is a priority. Position requirements include:
• Licensed CNA, Home Health Aid, Personal Care Aid must possess at least one certification and have successful completion of the medication administration training course approved by the Department of Health and Senior Services.
• Must have the ability to remain calm under stressful conditions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public.
• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Must meet all health requirements, including TB, and pass background checks.
