As an Vice President of Clinical Practice and Research, you will: - Develops and integrates evidenced based practice research guidelines and updates them on an ongoing basis to ensure best practices are rooted in evidence for the clinical/medical practice.
Develops education for leadership and staff to include baseline testing, post training testing and benchmark metrics related to training efficacy and success. Partners with sales, marketing and business development for national account clinical development and providing support for new initiatives. Assures best in class training and education for recruitment and retention goals by collaborating with human resources professionals and GU leadership. Assist with ongoing clinical practice enhancements. Collaborates with internal and external subject matter experts to advance applicable studies, publications, and seeks out potential grants and or academia partnerships to meet applicable clinical strategies and goals. Works closely with Regional Leadership in hand-off for execution of new clinical initiatives, clinical programming, disease management and clinical operational enhancements. Collaborates with Division CMO to ensure evidenced based practices, outcomes and overall clinical policy and practice. Collaborates with Patient Centered/Family Advocacy Advisory Panel to improve patient care process and overall patient experience. Works closely with Divisional/Regional leadership to identify best practices leading to bending the cost-curve including staffing models for improved productivity and management of medical supplies.
Qualifications
- Masters degree in Business, Nursing, or related health field preferred.
- An idea candidate for this position will be a licensed Advance Practice Nurse with senior leadership and management experience.
- Must be a licensed registered nurse with bachelor degree minimum.
- Plus have a minimum of eight years clinical nursing experience including five years nursing management with at least three years of demonstrated experience at a senior level within large healthcare multi-site organization required.
- Broad knowledge of home health agency regulations/administration required.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with clinical research and informatics, evidence-based practice related to nursing, therapy and medical clinical processes.
- Must have experience and proven success working in a matrix environment. Excellent organizational, problem solving, decision-making, assertiveness, influencing presentation and communication skills.
- Thorough knowledge of home healthcare industry and related regulatory clinical practice required.
- Excellent project management skills required.
- Travel required.
