Other responsibilities include:

• Oversee and manage the day to day food service operation of our facility
• Hire, train, manage and motivate the Food Service Staff with a strong emphasis on the culinary staff
• Manage all department financials
• Daily monitoring of sanitation and all levels of food and service standards

We seek the following qualifications:

• If you're looking to lead in a professional up scale environment we're in need of a Director of Dining Services.
• Strong knowledge preferred in chef background.
• College degree in food service or hospitality management is preferred.
• At least 8 years of progressive experience in the food service industry including at least 3 of those years in a responsible management role of others preparing food and servicing customers.
• Experience to include management of food inventories and budgets.
• Must possess strong communication skills, be able to multi-task
• Experience in supervising staff and scheduling
• This individual will need to be empathetic, energetic and have an affinity for working with a senior population
• Must have strong culinary skills and ability to train, manage, and develop culinary staff
