The Administrative Secretary must have effective written and oral communication skills with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization, a strong customer service orientation, and excellent organizational skills. This individual coordinates general office functions that include paper flow, must be considered an expert in Microsoft Word and Excel, document editing, files management, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, attending meetings and taking minutes, answering and directing incoming calls, handling confidential information, office equipment competency, special projects development, and various duties as assigned. Qualifications:The Administrative Secretary must possess an associate's degree or two years of administrative secretary experience, preferrably in a legal office. Good working knowledge of general office equipment and excellent computer skills REQUIRED; typing skills of 60 wpm preferred. Must have proper telephone etiquette and independent work skills.
