POSITION SUMMARY: Using independent judgement, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing clerical and secretarial support to assigned administrative/senior team positions. This position is responsible for office files and records, preparing correspondence, setting appointments. This position does not provide direct patient care.

POSITION QUALIFICATION: This position requires a high school diploma, advanced secretarial skills including word processing, a knowledge of Word, Lotus 1-2-3 , and 3 years of secretarial experience or equivalent education and experience. This position also requires strong organizing skills, the ability to prioritize, judgment and decision making abilities and the ability to handle multiple projects and meet assignment deadlines.

Ability to maintain assigned work hours: Has sufficient endurance to perform tasks over long periods of work hours.
