Position Summary: Assists Store Manager with overseeing and performing day-to-day operations in all areas of the store. Supervises Staff and Volunteers in the absence of the Store Manager. Assists Store Manager with training, scheduling and managing staff and volunteers; monitoring cash flow in cash registers; and makeing deposits to the safe as required. Assists Store Manager with maintaining a clean, well-organized, safe store environment . Assists with creating attractive seasonal displays and merchandising inventory daily for increased sales. Assists with ensuring precautionary measures to prevent potential safety hazards and theft are in place. Provides quality customer service by ensuring customer orders and donations are processed efficiently and in an accurate, safe, courteous and timely manner. Assists donors and customers with unloading/loading items to/from thier vehicles. Assists with rotation of stock and stocking the sales floor. Ensures opening and closing of store per posted hours of operation in absence of Store Manager. Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent. Previous work in retail environment, preferably in apparel, thrift/consignment. Cashier and supervisory experience preferred. Valid Florida Drivers License and Insurance.
