Title: Receptionist Reports to: Business Office Manager Supervises: None Position Summary : Greets and welcomes visitors, answers all incoming phone calls in a professional and friendly manner and promotes the image of Country Meadows as a professional organization committed to the mission of resident service. Other relevant duties as may be required or assigned by management. Routine Functions of the Positions : - Warmly greet and welcome residents, coworkers, and all visitors to the facility and directs them to the appropriate area or person and answers routine questions.
- Possess and maintain knowledge of the facility, benefits, services provided, the customers, and employees.
- Operate paging/telephone system as required.
- Answer incoming calls, both internally and externally, in a warm, pleasant, and professional manner.
- Take detailed messages when appropriate and ensure that messages are relayed promptly to the intended person.
- Ensure that the reception areas are clean, neat, and inviting.
- Prepare outgoing facility mail for pickup.
- Opens, stamps, sorts and distributes incoming mail for departments.
- Maintain current listing of residents and coworkers.
- Report equipment malfunctions as soon as possible to appropriate personnel.
- Maintain the maintenance book for repairs to facility.
- Sell meal tickets to coworkers and reconcile the funds.
- Organize the necessary information packets for applicants and new coworkers.
- Perform clerical functions associated with resident admission, discharges, and readmission.
- Responsible for typing, copying, faxing for all departments as requested.

Work Environment: In a typical eight-hour day, the coworker will - Stand/walk up to two hours
- Sit up to eight hours a day
- Frequently support up to 30 pounds
- Frequently lift/carry up to 50 pounds
- Frequently kneel, bend, and reach
Requirements Minimum Qualifications : - Able to operate office equipment including copier, fax machine, postage meter, etc.
- Good organization skills
- Mature, cheerful personality
- High School diploma or GED preferred
