Silverado Hospice, a leading provider of end-of-life care, is presently seeking an experienced and compassionate per-diem Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our growing Hospice care team in Sugar Land.
Our Licensed Vocational Nurses enjoy a dynamic environment that focuses on quality end-of-life care for patients with a variety of terminal illnesses.
Licensed Vocational Nurse Responsibilities include:
Patient assessment
Direct patient care
Administration of medications
Emotional support to patients and families
Ideal Licensed Vocational Nurse background includes:
At least one year of nursing experience is required (new grads will not be considered).
Ideal candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for Hospice.
Experience working in an acute care setting.
A valid driver’s license and auto insurance
