JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for assisting the Senior ED for the overall direction of the agency. Responsible for the overall direction of hospice clinical services. Establish, implement and evaluate goals and objectives for hospice/homecare services that meet and promote the standards of quality and contribute to the total organization and philosophy. Responsible for the employment of qualified personnel and the delegation to and coordination of personnel evaluations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

*Registered nurse in the State with current licensure to practice professional nursing in the State

*BachelorÂ*s degree or MasterÂ*s degree in Nursing from an accredited program by the National League for Nursing preferred

*Three to five years of management experience in a hospice or related healthcare organization

*Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel

*Must be a licensed driver with 24-hour access to a reliable automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements

*Knowledge of business management, governmental regulations and accreditation standards

*Knowledge of hospice/homecare reimbursement requirements preferred

*Must meet all state and federal regulatory requirements

*Must have current CPR certification

*Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance
