Job Description:  Summary
Responsible for providing Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services to LSS employees. Maintains the Core values that support the Christian Mission of Lutheran Senior Services, "Older Adults Living Life to the Fullest".

Duties And Responsibilities
Provides assessment and short term counseling to LSS employees.
Assists in maintaining program visibility at Lutheran Hillside Village (Peoria) and Concordia Village (Springfield).
Participates in training and educational presentations.
Maintains strict confidentiality of all program referrals and all employee
information.
Participates in internal marketing of program to employees.
Develops relationships with community resources providing services of benefit to
LSS employees.
Maintains record systems for efficient operation of program.
Follows LSS policies and procedures.
Attends LSS meetings and trainings, as indicated.
Supports and upholds all federal, state and local regulatory laws and standards.
Other duties as assigned.

• Knowledge of counseling, short term therapies, problem solving skills and case management.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Self-motivator.
• Master's degree.
• Currently licensed or working towards licensure in social work or related field.
• Knowledge of community resources.
