We are recruiting for a Quality Coordinator to join our growing team. 

Essential Functions:
 
• Ensures that all CPC Quality Group Findings (Application Assessments and/or QC Reports) are accurate, and that the appropriate documentation is attached.  After findings are verified, forwards information to either CPC Management or Regional Billing Office Cash Liaisons for resolution. 

• Works with the Cash Liaisons and with the Cash Processing Center to coordinate the timely resolution of any items researched by the Quality Group.

• Assists with the coordination of the daily workflow within the Quality Group by distributing transactions that need to be reviewed.

• Provides operational assistance to other Cash Associates with difficult cash applications relieving outstanding receivables.

• Communicates with associates in other functional areas, RBOs, and Pharmacies when needed to achieve appropriate cash posting and error resolution.

• Works with Cash Manager in researching payments requiring special attention as indicated on cash reports (exception reports, unapplied cash, failed transactions, etc.) in taking all necessary action to post payments.

• Maintains an above average knowledge of all financial payor sources and keeps up to date with processes within the Cash Processing Center in order to effectively support the CPC, Regional Business Offices and Pharmacies.

• Works with members of management team on special projects as needed.

• Other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:
• High School graduate, GED or equivalent
• 1 year billing experience
• Must have 2-3 years billing and/or collections experience 
• Third party billing or infusion collections/billing experience in healthcare industry is preferred
• 10 key by touch, data entry, MS Excel and Word
• Customer service, medical and/or coding background
