Job Description:	Supervises and performs nursing activities for the Care Center nursing department in accordance with company policies and government regulations. Responsible for the delivery of care and services to the resident within the area during a given period of time. Delivery of resident care is performed through implementing prescribed interventions and evaluating resident outcomes and conditions. In the absence of the Director of Nursing, the LVN is responsible for the direction and coordination of nursing services, and compliance to federal, state, and local regulatory agencies. Reports To: Registered Nurse/Charge Nurse Education Requirements: Graduation from a School of Nursing for Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses. Work Experience: Prior experience working with geriatric clients preferred. Licensure / Certification, where required: Current State Licensure as a licensedpractical nurse or licensed vocational nurse, in the state where practicing, and Cardiopulmonary resuscitation/Automatic External Defibrillator certification.
