Work Experience: Prior experience working with the geriatric clients preferred. Restorative experience preferred.

Licensure / Certification: Must have valid Colorado license.

The registered nurse is responsible for the delivery of nursing care to the residents on the skilled nursing unit during a given period of time. Delivery of resident care is performed through the utilization of the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation and evaluation. In addition, he/she is responsible for the direction and supervision of personnel assigned to him/her.

Education and Experience:

• Education: Graduated from accredited school of nursing. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Work Experience: Experience or continuing education in care of the elderly preferred.
• Licensure / Certification, where required: Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Colorado.

Principal Accountabilities / Essential Job Functions:

• Assess resident's physical, psychosocial, environmental, spiritual, cultural, self-care, educational and discharge planning needs, as appropriate.
• Evaluates data and determines resident's needs.
• Participates in the establishment of mutually formative outcomes with resident, family and other members of the health care team.
• Reviews the care plan and consults with a registered nurse or the physician and other health care providers to adjust the plan to assure optimum resident outcomes.
• Follows assignments and delegates tasks based on resident need and according to knowledge and skill of the designated caregiver.
• Implements interventions established in the care plan.
• Manages practices so it is consistent with current standards promulgated by Classic Residence by Hyatt and appropriate local, state, and federal regulatory bodies.
• Documents nursing care per documentation policy and standards.
• Participates in resident and family education and counseling.
• Communicates and collaborates with other members of the healthcare team to resolve resident care problems and enhance care delivery.
• Maintains gerontologic nursing competencies and attends annual educational programs.
• Participates in orientation of new employees.
• Attends/participates in care center meetings, in-services and committee meetings.
• Sustains quality assessment and performance improvement activities.
• Identifies and reports deviations from safe practice. Adheres to policies and guidelines of regulatory agencies (i.e. OSHA).

We are currently looking for one full time and one part time RN. Must be available to work weekends. Some day shifts available, but mostly seeking candidates available to work evenings or overnights.

Salary Info: Starting between $27-$30/hour.
**Shift differentials available for night and weekend shifts. **
