Celebrate Caring at SunBridge Healthcare a leader in rehabilitative and long-term healthcare. We currently have several opportunities availalbe for Billing and Collection Coordinators at our centralized billing office. This position is based out of Tampa, FL and centrally located in the tri-county area near the Tampa International Airport, near Memorial and Veterans highway.
 
Responsibilities of the Billing and Collections Coordinator include performing accounts receivable billing and collection activities for the payors assigned in accordance with applicable Federal, State and local standards, guidelines and regulations. The responsibilities include billing generation, resolving edits, collection activities, cash posting, adjustment processing and management of the assigned accounts.
 
Essential Duties
  • Process timely and accurate billing of claims per SunBridge guidelines and policies for assigned payor.
  • Perform and document collection activity timely to resolve issues at the earliest stage of the process to meet accounts receivable targets.
  • Review and correct claims for errors identified pre and post submission of the claim.
  • Identify research and resolve differences in payment versus expected payment and non-payment.
  • Utilize problem-solving skills to support centers and colleagues for resolution of issues.
Job Requirements :
    High School education or equivalent required. An Associates degree from a community college or technical school preferred.
    Three years experience in healthcare billing or insurance billing. Long Term Care billing and collections experience preferred.
    Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid billing preferred.
