Provide leadership and technical expertise in requirements solicitation, system analysis, technical design, programming and documentation of information systems.

 


Essential Functions:

 


Thorough knowledge of Java EE

o   EJB3

o   JMS

o   JBOSS/Tomcat

o   Hibernate

o   Spring

o   Experience with open source

 Thorough knowledge of Web services

o   SOA

o   SOAP

o   WSDL

o   XML

o   XSD

o   XSLT

o   UDDI

·         Database

o   SQL

o   Oracle or SQL Server experience

·         Healthcare experience

·         HIPAA EDI X12 experience

o   837 Claims processing

o   835 Claim payment

o   834 Enrollment

o   820 Premium Payments

o   HIPAA 4010 & 5010 experience

o   Knowledge of other EDI transactions are a plus

·         Advanced Knowledge of Edifecs (Trainable skill)

o   XEngine

o   Transaction Manager

·         Informatica (Trainable skill)

o   Ability to create custom maps, business rules, and administration functions


 

Education:  Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in computer science or equivalent ; Masters preferred.

 

 

Minimum of ten years of software development experience and at least five years in the healthcare industry

Management Skills:

o   Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, i.e.  VP, BA, SA, Architects and Developers.

o   Experience leading direct reports

o   Ability to perform Root cause analysis

o   Experience leading SDLC Waterfall projects

o   Ability to interpret business requirements and build detailed specifications for developers

o   Experience leading projects impacting multiple functional and business teams

o   Ability to write detailed functional specifications, design models, and work flow documents
