Write and submit grant applications

Manage all aspects of the Foundation’s daily operations

Plan, direct, and oversee all foundation events

o

Assist with coordination of special events as assigned


 


JOB REQUIREMENTS
A.      Bachelor’s degree in public relations, marketing, business or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
B.      Minimum 2 years professional work experience in grant writing for a corporation; healthcare grant writing experience preferred.
C.      Excellent writing skills.
D.      Significant experience in writing government proposals with a proven track record of successful outcomes.
E.       Experience preparing technical project proposals or reports for government funding agencies.
F.       Ability to respond quickly to new fundraising opportunities and to changing priorities.
G.      Must be self-motivated, detail and deadline oriented, and possess the ability to “flow” with non-profit culture essential.
H.      Must have the ability to work comfortably with a variety of program staff at various levels of the organization.
I.         Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and fundraising databases.
J.       Excellent communication skills to include oral and written comprehension and expression.
K.      Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently with minimal to no supervision.
L.       Excellent follow-through with projects and strong attention to detail.
M.     Entrepreneurial – must be willing and able to take initiative and handle a multitude of tasks under the pressure of deadlines.
N.      Ability to work occasional weekends and evenings as projects necessitate.
O.      Ability and willingness to exhibit behaviors consistent with standards for performance improvement and organizational values (e.g. efficiency and financial responsibility, safety, partnership and service, teamwork, compassion, integrity, and trust and respect).
P.       Ability and willingness to exhibit behaviors consistent with principles for service excellence.
