Job Description:	Medical Policy Coordinator- Managed Care- Jackson, MS The Medical Policy Coordinator is accountable for the research, formulation, implementation and revision of medical policy as directed by the Medical Policy Advisory Committee. (MPAC) This individual is responsible for the internal and external training of medical policies and procedures and participates in associated quality assurance/quality management initiatives as needed. In addition, this position will perform other duties as directed by the Manager of Provider Compliance. Qualifications/Requirements: Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licensed in the state of Mississippi with at least 3 years of clinical experience preferred. A bachelor’s degree in nursing is required. Working experience with CTP4, HCPCS and ICD9 coding required. Experience in quality review/management or clinical pathways are required.
