SUMMARY: The Residential Communities psychiatric nurse (RN) provides psychiatric nursing services for patients residing primarily in assisted and independent living facilities.  In addition to direct care to VNA patients in the facilities, the RC psychiatric nurse will consult with staff on facility residents and provide support and teaching to staff and caregivers on behavorial and medication management for patients with dementia or psychiatric conditions.  The candidate must be able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, be flexible, work autonomously, and have a sense of humor.  

QUALIFICATIONS: Registered Nurse (RN) in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. BSN preferred. 2 years experience in acute care psychiatric setting required; experience in home health care preferred.
