Job Description:  To act in an interim leadership position to manage overall or specific operations in the Nursing Services department, in accordance with company policies, standards of nursing practices and governmental regulations to maintain consistent quality care. To act in an interim leadership position to manage overall or specific operations in the Nursing Services department, in accordance with company policies, standards of nursing practices and governmental regulations to maintain consistent quality care.*Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing and currently licensed by the State.*Experience in management and geriatric nursing.*Leadership ability. *A minimum of five (5) years of general nursing experience required with at least two (2) years in long term care and two (2) years of successful experience in either administrative, consultation, L.T.C. or involvement in the survey process. Success is defined as a clear, demonstrated history of quality resident care management.*Past experience as a Director of Nursing.*Ability and willingness to travel extensively and work on-site in numerous facilities.*Ability and willingness to assume various job functions in a facility; i.e., DNS, DSD, MDS Coordinator.*No less than two (2) years of previous L.T.C. experience.*Must be able to relate professionally and positively to corporate staff and visitors, project a professional image for the company, and to work cooperatively with other employees at all levels.*Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance.*Must meet all local health regulations, and pass post-employment physical exam if required.*Must have a valid drivers license.*Must have 24-hour access to a motor vehicle for travel and maintain personal auto-liability insurance coverage.*Must be capable of performing the Essential Job Functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
