DIRECTOR OF NURSING SERVICES POSITION SUMMARY:

This is a perfect position for a creative nurse with a flair for management, organization, teaching, and communication. As a facility leader the DNS is responsible for managing the operation of the nursing department in accordance with facility policy, accepted standards of nurse practice, and regulation. Problem solving, systems analysis, and planning for improvement are critical success factors.

Requirements

Director Of Nursing Services ( DON / DNS )
Required Experience:

Six months experience in a nursing facility, hospital, or inpatient rehab facility required. Long-term care experience preferred. We offer training programs to augment and further career skills.

Required Education:

Applicants must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state where the person will practice. In some states, additional course work in management or supervision is required within 9 months of employment.
