Job Description: 
Responsible for coordination and smooth operation of Hospice Care Center kitchen, including ordering and food preparation, cooking, clean up and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas. Ensures policies and procedures are followed in regard to Agency, OSHA and Health Department regulations. Oversees and directly participates in providing quality meals meeting patient's dietary requirements and maintains clean kitchen and dining areas. Purchases food and supplies and completes inventory management. May require work in early mornings, late evenings and weekends as necessary.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent with 1-2 years of commercial food preparation experience desired. Food handling and food manager certification required. Knowledge of Health Department and OSHA regulations related to kitchen maintenance and operation preferred. Ability to work alone or with a team. Good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. Ability to work non-judgmentally with persons of varied cultural, religious and socioeconomic backgrounds and lifestyles. Drivers license and insurance.
