Responsibilities Atria’s Executive Director in Training (EDIT) program is a development opportunity open to all who might aspire to become an Atria Executive Director (ED) and who are open to invest the time and energy it takes to learn the skills required for this most critical role in our organization. EDIT is a six-month program designed to help future EDs learn the role, while simultaneously allowing Atria to build a pool of high-caliber EDs across the country. EDIT participants will develop functional and leadership skills by rotating through community departmental operations. Trainees will also gain exposure to the senior housing industry, attend Atria training courses such as EDU and ASU and receive coaching from experienced and respected company leaders.

We are currently seeking EDIT candidates for our training site located at Atria Kennebunk located in Kennebunk, ME. Please note that the training site is located in Kennebunk, ME and you must be willing to spend six months in this location. Upon graduation, trainees will be assigned to fill an open ED position, making it critical for candidates to have the ability to relocate. Qualifications Successful Executive Director in Training Candidates must:
* Have a Bachelor's degree, preferably in business administration, healthcare administration, or related subject
* Be an enterprising person and a team player;
* Have compassion and a positive attitude;
* Be a self-starter with a creative and energetic attitude;
* Recognize and generate ideas and opportunities for growing revenue and census;
* Be able to present ideas with passion and conviction;
* Set goals and convey expectations for department heads;
* Successfully oversee all functional areas of the community;
* Prioritize the needs of your community in order to achieve occupancy goals;
* Be a leader motivating everyone to success;
* Inspire outstanding customer service and employee morale.
