Job Description:  About the Opportunity Hobbs Health Care Center is a 118 bed skilled nursing facility Medicare/Medicaid certified healthcare center. Hobbs Health Care Center is located at 5717 Lovington Hwy Hobbs NM 88240. We provide our patients with short and long term specialized nursing and rehabilitative care. There is also a secured unit designed for patients with Alzheimer’s disease and another related disorders. Licensed Practical Nurse - Long-Term Care Administers nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse in a long-term care environment. Participates in the delivery and evaluation of patient care. Ensures the health, comfort, and safety of patients according to facility guidelines. Requires a high school diploma and certification as a licensed practical nurse. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Qualifications Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a LVN in the state where practicing or eligible for reciprocity –New Mexico license. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English Language Able to react to emergency situations appropriately when required.
