Job Description: 

ADMINISTRATOR - DELAND (full-time)


DESCRIPTION:

Responsible and accountable for the overall leadership, business development, financial performance, planning, community awareness/engagement as well as the management of the Satellite Hospice Operations. Identifies organizational development opportunities within the defined service area, working collaboratively with other organizational departments to implement, integrate and coordinate organizational goals and strategic initiatives. Adheres to the highest standards of professionalism and the organization's core values while meeting the mission of HH. Serves as Administrator on-call as assigned.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors degree required, Masters degree preferred in nursing, social work, health care administration or other relevant field.
  • Five to seven (5 - 7) years of progressive managerial experience in a healthcare setting, such as hospice, home health, nursing home or hospital required;
  • Hospice experience preferred.
  • Must be skilled in leading an interdisciplinary team in both facility and home based settings with excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication and managerial skills.
  • Ability to work independently, exercising a high degree of discretion and independent judgment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and effectively execute the goals and initiatives of the organization.
  • Florida Driver's license and insurance required.
