The GE Appliances Junior Officer Leadership Program (JOLP) is a core source of Manufacturing future leadership talent. In the program you will draw on your leadership skills, education, and previous experiences as a top-performing, junior military officer (JMO).

Essential Responsibilities:

JOLP is an industry leading, development program for JMO's transitioning from military service. JOLP is a 2 yr program that provides you with broad Supply Chain / Manufacturing Operations leadership opportunities along with exposure to our various core processes, teams and businesses. The program focuses on building operational leaders for supply chain management, manufacturing operations, sourcing and project management.
You will generally perform three, eight-month rotations in different functions and/or business areas such as:
  • Manufacturing Operations
  • Sourcing
  • Material Planning and Management
  • Engineering
    In addition, as a part of the program, you will participate in curriculum based training components focusing on leadership, Lean Continuous Improvement and management skills required to be a GE leader.

    You will be expected to hit the ground running, take responsibility for and perform in a series of challenging roles where you will be able to make a real impact on the organization. You will be expected to learn and adapt, to quickly gain situational and organizational awareness in a dynamic business environment and add value in your assigned role.

    Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required, technical degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 year's commissioned service
  • Excellent service record, including responsibilities and leadership experience
  • Cumulative undergraduate GPA of
    3.0 or higher
  • Position supports 24/7 manufacturing facilities. Occasional off shift, on call and weekend work may be required.
  • Willingness to and ability to relocate as needed
