Overview:

Horizon Bay Retirement Living is seeking an experienced Sales Specialist based in Houston, TX.  This position will involve 90% travel to our communities in Texas.

 

 

The Sales Specialist position will "float" and "fill in" between the communities throughout a specific, large geographical region depending on the challenges and staffing needs of the sales departments. We are searching for accomplished sales professionals with proven track records selling as well as creating leads, community outreach, customized follow up, relationship building and closing.



What you would be doing:

  • Following the marketing plans and sales strategies, research, and census development, advertising and public relations

  • Conducting tours, luncheons or other strategies with prospective clients follow-up with inquiry calls daily

  • Generate correspondence/information for prospective clients

  • Arrange special events and promotions to increase and promote the community

  • Be responsible for census development through the implementation of external and internal marketing programs

  • Processing of applicants for admissions and maintaining waiting lists



What are we looking for:

  • Senior living industry or sales related experience preferably in the independent living market

  • A degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or Business preferred but not required

  • Basic computer skills required including database management

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Organizational skills
